On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unexpected and profound impact on all of our daily lives and our businesses. COVID-19 has changed a lot about the way my management company operate and the ways in which they interact with guests.
While much uncertainty and apprehension around COVID-19 remains, we do know that COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. It may also spread by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. Some evidence suggests that COVID-19 can live on certain surfaces for several days.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
We have implemented various preventive measures aimed to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19 among our guests, homeowners, vendors, and employees.
However, we do not guarantee or warrant against the risk of infection. Enhanced health and safety measures are being taken during the pandemic; by choosing to reserve my home you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

This Notice and Disclaimer is intended as a warning to our guests of the risk of contracting COVID-19, a disclaimer of our liability and the liability of our homeowners associated therewith, and an explanation of some of the things we’re doing to mitigate the risk of the spread of COVID-19, as well as some of the things we believe our guests can do to help.
What are the Management Company doing?
They have enhanced cleaning procedures in all homes, giving special attention to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as tables, faucets, railings, light switches, and doorknobs. These will also be cleaned with disinfectant as part of the pre-arrival check.
A hand sanitiser has been installed in the entrance of the home and a Disinfectant spray supplied for use during your stay.
They will make beds with fitted sheets, flat sheets, and pillowcases only. Extra pillows, shams, comforters, and blankets will be placed in the bedroom closets.
They have implemented a policy designed to limit physical interactions between employees and guests, owners and vendors.
Employees will wear masks and disposable gloves while inside the homes and while interacting with guests. To further limit physical interactions, staff will work with guests via phone or videoconference to troubleshoot any maintenance or service requests. Staff will enter guest-occupied homes only if requested and absolutely necessary. Employees may not enter an occupied home until all occupants have relocated to a separate, distant area within or outside of the home.
The villa has a contact free check due to keycode entry - key pads are sanitised after the home has been checked ready for your arrival.
What can you do?
Staying healthy and mitigating the risk of contracting COVID-19 will require your help. Protect yourself and exercise social responsibility.
Maintain at least 1 to 2 metre social distancing from others when possible.
Wear a mask, particularly in places like grocery stores and other public-serving businesses.
Wash your hands using soap and water for at least twenty (20) seconds as frequently as possible.
Carry hand sanitiser and use it frequently.
During your stay, regularly clean and wipe down high-touch surfaces. Clean and wipe down personal items such as phones and wallets, and clean areas inside of your vehicles, such as steering wheels.
Avoid contact with others who are sick. If you feel sick, isolate yourself from others and seek medical attention.
Vacationing will, no doubt, be different over the coming months. We ask for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we all adapt to change in light of COVID-19. Despite the changes, and despite the uncertainties associated with COVID-19, my Management company and I remain committed to providing a memorable and enjoyable vacation for you and your family.
Master Bedroom 1
This room has a king size bed along with access to the pool deck. There is also an ensuite bathroom complete with a bath tub and overhead shower, wash basin, toilet and ample wardrobe space. The wardrobe also houses a safe to store your valuables.
Master Bedroom 2
The second master bedroom has a queen size bed, as well as an ensuite bathroom complete with a bath tub and overhead shower, wash basin and toilet, and walk in wardrobe/closet.
Twin Bedrooms & Third Bathroom
The remaining two bedrooms each have standard twin beds as well as plenty of wardrobe space and a chest of drawers. The bathroom is located between the twin rooms and has a bath and overhead shower, wash basin and toilet.
A safety fence is also installed around the pool area which ensures that children cannot wander into the pool, and pool alarms are fitted to patio doors that lead to the pool area.

The pool and spa are south facing so you have the benefit of the wonderful Florida sun shining on the pool area from morning to early evening. The pool is 12' x 24' and can be used at anytime of the day or night; at night the pool can be lit with colour changing LED lights with 6 lockable colours and 2 automatic colour changing shows. There is a built in spa which has the added bonus of additional air therapy jets. The pool may be heated for an additional charge.
There is also the covered lanai / patio complete with a patio table and six chairs; perfect for breakfast or evenings, as well as a welcome retreat from the afternoon sun. Sun loungers are also provided, along with a selection of pool toys.

Your own Home away from Home!
Clermont has a wonderful central location in Lake County, Florida, making it perfect for visiting all the Orlando attractions and beyond. Locals know this lovely city as the "Gem of the Hills", because it is one of the few Florida counties that has rolling hills. Clermont is also known for its many lakes and canals. Twenty golf courses are located within a 10-mile radius of Clermont, and the "Rails to Trails," bike trail extends from Clermont to Ocoee. Craft shows are common events, and shopping is a popular past time with many deals and speciality gift items to be found at outlet malls and the shops along U.S. 192. Clermont is also home to the famous Lake Ridge Winery that offers free wine tasting and winery tours.
Sunrise Lakes is a quiet residential community and the villa is situated in a secluded spot that is not overlooked from behind, giving you that extra privacy not offered by many other properties! The villa is fully air-conditioned with vaulted ceilings and sleeps 8 people comfortably.
My home is a 15 minute drive to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, Sea World or International Drive are all within easy reach. The Gulf coast is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away, with Daytona Beach and the Kennedy Space Center about an hour's drive.
Orlando International Airport is a 30 minute drive with Sanford International Airport an hour away.

The garage has been converted into a fully air-conditioned games room complete with a 6 ft Pool table, 6 ft Air Hockey game with electronic scoring and sound effects, as well as an Electronic Dartboard with 65 game variations.

Also no Pets are allowed to stay at my home (either inside or outside of the villa).

This room has one large corner settee and an arm chair. There is also a 42" Flat Screen television as well as a DVD player, video (VCR), Playstation 2 console with a selection of games and a portable CD radio cassette player. The patio doors lead to the covered lanai and pool area.
The kitchen is fully equipped including oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer with ice-maker, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, blender, waste disposal and all essential crockery and cooking utensils. There is also a separate dining area next to the kitchen with seating for six people, and a breakfast bar with three additional seats.
This houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as the iron and ironing board. A vacuum cleaner is also stored in the garage.
